Welcome To KELC Schools

Formerly known as Karabo Early Learning Centre, founded and co-owned by Mr and
Mrs Thage. With a background of Education as Senior Teachers and School Principal respectively they have always had a love and passion for working with children.

The Alexandra branch was opened in September 1993 and the Lombardy West branch in 1997. They were blessed with three children, the last born and only daughter, Karabo (whom the school is named after) established the Kew branch in 2014. While academic education is an important part at KELC SCHOOLS, we believe emotional, physical, and social attributes are just as important with regards to a child’s wellbeing, and we prefer to focus on holistic development. We thoroughly enjoy working with and being around children and have dedicated most of our lives into researching and adapting principles that will help form the fundamental basics of children’s lives and aid them in becoming healthy, happy, and independent people.

We are not just a school; we are a family. We love to play and form a special bond with each child. Every child is different and we cater to their individual learning style and make them feel comfortable in our environment.
